TEMPUS - an installation in which, by building a wall, the viewer was forced to look at the painting from a very close perspective. To me this was a representation of time now, the present. The viewer couldn’t step away to see the entire image, but had to discover it, piece by piece, when moving into that sort of enclosed space. In parallel, there was another painting that you could see it from distance, as a representation of the Past, or perhaps the Future.
WHOLE - plaster, acrylic and pencil on wall. Time is presented here as a memory trace or a horizon line.
